"Charlie" Behind The Scenes

Monday I got back in the "studio" aka T-Square Loft and shot an amazing editorial with my dream team. Karmin our model, and one of my favorite faces of the moment, MUA Anthony, and my amazing photographer Lee. I can't recall exactly how this concept came about, but I knew I wanted to play on masculine and feminine, with the makeup channeling Charlie Chaplin amped up a notch. For wardrobe, I stayed true to my aesthetic; versatile and simplistic. I can't wait to share the actual photos with you all!

In the mean time.. take a peek behind the scenes.

Stylist Chronicles: "Playlist"

Ever since styling the "Tari Late Summer Lookbook" opportunites to style have been landing in my lap, and I never really considered myself a stylist, but look at me now lol. Of course there is still much I need to learn, and I am certainly willing to do so.

Last month I had the opportunity to style a Wedding Band that goes by "Playlist" for their promotional video's, all thanks to my best friend and one of the lead female vocalists Kristian. This was the very first music video I've styled; pulling pieces from Tari Boutique in Georgtown, House of Kas, as well as a piece or two from my own closet (Not to mention styling the outfits from the clothes each band member brought with them.) I must admit, I was a bit nervous taking on such an ambitous task styling all band members, but thank goodness it all came together in the end. Take a look at some behind the scenes shots AND view the videos on the Site

On Location: Stylist Chronicles

Two weeks ago, I styled my best friend for her press kit. She's an up and coming R&B artist and has an amazing voice. So glad the photographer got a few shots of me "stepping in" to fix her wardrobe lol. Another project working on a ZERO dollar budget. All pieces were pulled from her closet and my own, with the exception of some Bisoux Jewelry. Can't wait to show you guys the final photos. Enjoy
