Kimono Love... A Style Post

So I finally decided to rock my Kimono I purchased at Meeps Vintage  during their grand re-opening party last year. After contemplating how to wear it for a while, I went with what I do best... Keep it simple and let the Kimono be the STAR that it is lol. I felt invincible walking around the city in this fit. Ya'll couldn't tell me NOTHING

Recap: Meeps Vintage Grand Re-Opening

It's been a long time coming for this post, thanks to my laptop not working, and then my desktop not working either lol. But, finally here it is.. If you all remember THIS post, you know I was one of 5 bloggers asked to participate in styling one look using new Meeps inventory. I must say again that I was thrilled with the final photos but I expect nothing less than greatness from Marshall of TPWP anyway lol. I had a good time at Meeps chatting it up with a few people, and of course using my store credit which was so graciously given to me by owners Kathy and Katherina. Thank you ladies!

I really love the new Meeps, peep the ceiling.. how cool is this!

 

This number caught my eye as soon as I walked in and started sifting through the many racks of vintage.

Some of the cutest little earrings and pins, I got the silver clip on earrings to the far right.

Let me first start off by saying what an honor it was to be asked to collab on this project with Meeps and The President Wears Prada. When I got the email from Carla asking me to style a look using Meeps un-released inventory as apart of the rebranding for the Boutique under new owners; Katerina and Cathy who also own Treasury, I was beyond stoked! (LOL I don't use stoked in real life but that word sums up exactly how I felt)  I got a sneak peek of the space still undergoing it's renovation and you guys are in for a big surprise. If you are familiar with the old Meeps, this is on a whole nother level.

Meeps will be having its Grand Re-Opening Celebration Thursday August 16th from 5-9 PM, featuring sounds by Jay Simon, and refreshments by De Vinos and you ALL are invited lol.
