NYFW: Stylin on Em': William Okpo A/W 14 Presentation
Beauty and style were in abundance at 51 Astor Place for the presentation of Darlene and Lizzie Okpo's A/W collection. It was great seeing familiar faces, and of course meeting new ones.. PLUS I got to meet the ever so stylish Solange Knowles! She is a huge supporter and fan of the Okpo girls.
PS. I can't wait to share photos of the collection with you. Edited, and highly detailed.

Liberty Fairs: Styling on Em'
Starting off the Liberty Fairs Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs recap with some fly individuals. Just a little bit of what I was able to capture in a few short hours. There was just so much to see; from amazing international brands, to amazing personal style. I'd say there was a mixture of Modern Gentleman, High Street, and Rustic. Take a Gander.

"Charlie" Behind The Scenes
Monday I got back in the "studio" aka T-Square Loft and shot an amazing editorial with my dream team. Karmin our model, and one of my favorite faces of the moment, MUA Anthony, and my amazing photographer Lee. I can't recall exactly how this concept came about, but I knew I wanted to play on masculine and feminine, with the makeup channeling Charlie Chaplin amped up a notch. For wardrobe, I stayed true to my aesthetic; versatile and simplistic. I can't wait to share the actual photos with you all!
In the mean time.. take a peek behind the scenes.

Stylist Chronicals: Published in Ellements Magazine
I've got some EXCITING news to share!! Last month photographer Arantes Stephen reached out to me about styling an editorial for submission to Ellements Magazine, and I accepted the challenge lol. The deadline was September 25th so I had about a week and a half to solidify pulls.
After having a few doors shut in my face, I was able to push through and pull some great pieces from Tari, ANTHOM, and Via Gypset. With these looks; I was going for strong and fearless, and I feel these images embody exactly what I was going for. Keeping colors to a minimum, I focused on patterns, textures, and layering. Side note.. I need that white ANTHOM jacket in my life.

Style Capture: Melissa Sullivan
Wednesday consignor Melissa Sullivan came into Tari for an appointment to drop off some beautiful vintage pieces, one of which I have already sold, and graced us with her fabulous style. I loved everything about her outfit, red black and white are classic color combinations, and the pieces she wore are classic and versatile.
Please don't mind my crappy camera photos lol, this fit just had to be documented.

Style Capture: Howard Lee
Two weeks ago I met Howard of EPG PR at an event in DC that I was super late to lol, and I asked if I could take a few pictures of him. I just love all the elements of his outfit, simple but the accessories pull everything together and give that stand out element. Don't fly men just make you happy?!
Got to love a guy not afraid to play with his socks lol

Style Capture: Ms. Name Uknown
Two weeks ago I attended The Romantic Movement at the Water St. Project in Georgetown with my good friend Imani. The space was filled with beautiful well-dressed men and women, and this gorgeous young lady just so happened to be one of them. Sister of Fola Sade who I just so happened to meet while in NY for Fashion week (what a small world) I hope to run into this young woman again, she's beautiful with a great sense of individual style.

NYFW: Styling at the Lincoln Center Pt. 2
Now, we can't leave out the stylish men. I managed to get a few nice shots in of some pretty fly guys as well.
From casual, to edgy, to flashy, to more refined with pops of color. I loved it all

NYFW: Styling at the Lincoln Center pt. 1
With out a doubt, every season you will find the fashion admirers, editors, stylist, bloggers, photographers.. so on and so forth at the Lincoln Center for Fashion Week. Some actually attending shows, others may just be hanging out outside snapping photos, or just hoping to get snapped. Me, I never head to the tents hoping to be photographed by some street style photographer. I'm the one who wants to capture some of the amazingly dressed individuals. I get a lot of inspiration from other stylish people, and I love to see what they are wearing. Take a look.
