Stylist Chronicles: For Kas Collection, Inc

A few months ago I was asked to put together a shoot for the new WET (With Exceptional Taste) denim lookbook. I was in charge of it all. Hair, makeup, models, concept.. the whole nine. While I am honored that my boss had that much trust and faith in me to complete such a task, I know with out a doubt that this shoot for me could have been a lot better. But hey, I'm still growing and there is always room for improvement. Tell me what you think! Below are my favorite shots.

I wanted to keep the concept simple focusing all attention on the denim itself. I kept makeup very minimal, and styling minimal as well. It wasn't about the outfitm it was strictly about the denim. See the full book at www.kascollectioninc.com

Last week I had the pleasure of styling the very first LookBook for Tari Boutique where I work. What an amazing team we had! So excited for the final photos and things we have planned for the site and everything in between. Enjoy this sneak peek!

Many thanks to Soo, and Anthony our MUA's, Dana, and Karmin our Models, and Lee my coworker and photographer/creative director. I'd like to call us the Magic team because when we get together we create Magic lol. I can't wait until our next project, and since styling this shoot so many other opportunities have started to pour in for me. I'm super amazed and thankful, I guess I should start calling myself a stylist now? Haha

Recap: SnobSwap Launch at Tari Boutique

Ok, so let me begin with... I LOVE MY NEW JOB. I am currently working at Tari, a wonderful Consignment boutique in Georgetown DC, and its great! I really love small businesses in comparison to the whole corporate structure. Last Thursday night I had the pleasure of working the event, getting clothing out on the floor collecting emails lol, and of course networking and doing my best to get in some great photos for your you guys to see. As usual, a bunch of bits and pieces of fits that I loved.
